Posts are set in concrete at the correct depth for the fence height and local soil conditions. In South San Jose's clay-heavy soil, posts typically go 24–30 inches deep; in sandier areas, we adjust accordingly. Gate posts are set separately with larger footings to carry the added swing weight.
We remove and haul the old fence, install the new one, and clean up. Most residential installs (50–120 linear feet) are completed in one to two days.
